Why are conservatives so…

Change the word “conservatives” to “liberals” and the word “obama” to “bush” and you will notice there isn’t a lot of difference between the two sides.

Maybe it seems that way on the surface, but the difference is that nowadays, there’s this swarm of totally subliterate FAUX-droids out there that do not even understand the words they’re using when they talk about politics. They call Obama a ‘liberal extremist’ when he’s barely even liberal at all. They go off on a rant about “he’s going to turn us all socialist” as though any service the government provides to us is evil. (The early 20th century liberals under Roosevelt are the reason we have things like roads, social security, the post office, et cetera…) They all repeat each other’s words never saying anything new. They don’t understand what they are saying. It’s mostly parrotted.

I think it just really bothers these guys that any tax money in America should go to services that help people who are not the same religion as they are, or who don’t believe in the same morality. The difference is: liberals tolerate the presence of people who live different lifestyles than them. They are happy to mind their own business. Conservatives are not capable of thinking like this. Everyone else is either the same as them, or else they are WRONG and evil, and must be changed and made to be just like they are.

What is it with these people being so hung up on other people’s sexual habits? Why can’t they just go to church, and pray to their God, and live their lives? If they don’t like unmarried or same-gender sex, they don’t have to do it! Why not leave the people who do have unmarried or same-gender sex alone, and just FORGET about them if they are so bothersome to think about? Conservative / “family” websites won’t shut up about this subject–it is mighty bewildering.
